Now in its 27th year, Hare readings happen in Halifax, Toronto and all over Newfoundland, and every year the audience gets bigger, the good times keep rolling, and writers and musicians from various walks of life participate. These next few pics are from the Saturday night event named after the late Al Pittman, poet and an original Hare organizer. It’s usually the most well-attended event and the one from which all others came.
